I hope you are coping with all the weather extremes as after 30°C plus I am now looking out at 16°C and what feels like a chilling breeze! Hey Ho British weather! On a more predictable note the concert by Harborough singers was noted to be one of the best ever and thoroughly enjoyed by all present. Thank you to all who turned out making the financial reward most pleasing!
We were also well represented at the Church Fete when assisting Sam Peverett’s efforts raise Church Funds.
How time flies – our next important event is on SATURDAY 27th AUGUST at 7pm in Church when we will welcome the return of YOUTH BRASS 2000 our local European and National Youth Champions! Please make a date to support this talented group of youngsters and their musical director Gary fountain. I’m enclosing ‘a flyer’ for you to use when inviting your friends and relatives to join you.
All our efforts continue to raise essential financial support for the maintenance of our magnificent Grade I listed building – St Dionysius Church, and we appreciate all the help you continue to give in our resolve – conservation – heritage – community
